This sets out how Can-Do Child® uses and protects any information that you give us when you use the Can-Do Child® website.
We are committed to ensuring your privacy is protected at all times.
Can-Do Child® web site, products and services
We only collect data which is relevant to our engagement with you, or the basic functioning of the web site, such as to enable navigation.
We will not sell, distribute or lease your name and email address to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.
We comply with GDPR which came into force on 25th May 2018 and are committed to ensuring any information about you that we do hold is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
Third parties
To enable you to purchase products such as activity cards and books, we refer you to Amazon who will collect personal details as shown on their site. All data provided to process the payment and fulfilment is handled by them.
We may work with other third parties such as Pinterest or Google, that serve advertisements across the Internet, tracking website usage statistics. We do not control these third party technologies and their use is governed by the privacy policies of the third parties using such technologies. Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, please note that we do not have any control over other websites. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Controlling data
Can-Do Child® is compliant with the Data Protection legislation including GDPR which came into force on 25th May 2018. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. The Can-Do Child® App
Although our app is no longer updated, it can still be downloaded from Google Play and Apple Stores.
We do not collect or store any personal data whatsoever. Refreshing, isn’t it? No lines of text to scroll through talking about cookies (we don’t use them here but choc chips are our favourites).
You don’t need to give us your name, email address, or any other identifier to use the app. There are no registrations, logins, passwords (thank goodness – we struggle to remember all of ours) or in-app purchases.
Can-Do Child® may change this policy from time to time by updating this page, so please ensure you check it periodically. This policy is effective from September 2012, last updated January 2026.
